A recent survey shows that almost half of the world’s top universities offer blockchain or cryptocurrency courses. Coinbase published a blog post reporting the results of a study conducted in tandem with Qriously, an innovative digital research company.
The survey involved 675 students in the United States. The study also covered a review of courses at 50 universities worldwide, as well as interviews with professors.
The key findings of the study:
- 42 percent of the world’s top 50 universities now offer at least one course on crypto or blockchain
- Students from a range of majors are interested in crypto and blockchain courses — and universities are adding courses across a variety of departments
