British-Canadian venture Argo has announced a new crypto mining service that targets individual consumers. The service makes it easy for any investor to mine Bitcoin Gold, Ethereum, and other altcoins from the comfort of their own homes.
Argo’s new offering, a mining-as-a-service (MaaS) is meant to address a strong need for a way for users to mine digital currencies in a feasible manner. Cryptocurrency mining is power and hardware-intensive, not to mention the fact that it requires some technical know-how that the average person may not possess.
To circumvent these hurdles and afford any user the benefit of cryptocurrency mining, Argo’s founders decided to open up a platform to the public. For a monthly fee, a user can select which coin(s) they want to mine. A mobile device or computer is all that’s needed.
In the setup, Argo’s mining rigs – located across the globe – are essentially rented out to users. When you create an account and select a package, those rigs will be mining the coin(s) of your choice. The coins that are mined are then deposited directly to your digital wallet.
Argo offer’s three packages, with pricing depending on the coin you wish to mine. All packages operate on a month-to-month contract.
As of this writing, Argo’s packages are sold out – a testament to the demand for the service. Monitor their website for further announcements.
