A bit of good news in not-so-good times: popular beauty app Perfect365 integrates cryptocurrency, adding a positive note in terms of adoption.
Perfect365 is a Webby Award-winning augmented reality beauty platform, which offers its more than 100 million users the chance to glimpse what they would look like after a makeover. With the use of various cosmetics and hairstyles – some from celebrities – users can find the perfect look they’re after.
Earlier this week, the company announced that it is bringing cryptocurrency to the world of beauty. Perfect365 integrates cryptocurrency by using Kin, which is considered the cryptocurrency for consumer apps. In a press release, the company states:
Expected within a week, users will be able to natively earn Kin within the Perfect365 app and spend it on premium Perfect365 features. As always, Perfect365 users will still be able to experiment and engage with complete beauty looks, using Augmented Reality within the app, from well-known beauty brands, including NYX Professional Makeup, NARS, HOT TOOLS, ipsy, Sony Pictures, Anna Sui and many others.
Initially, in order to earn Kin, users may answer surveys. In the future, other opportunities will be rolled out. These include creating and sharing makeup looks.
