ICON has announced a partnership with TRIVE, a Singapore-based venture capital firm. Being the first of its kind, the ICON TRIVE partnership is a significant development both in the venture capital scene and cryptocurrency industry in Southeast Asia. The partnership aims to “educate, equip and empower the regional startup and blockchain community.”
Combining their strengths – tech on ICON’s side and network and infrastructure on TRIVE’s – the new partners will be creating ICON-focused blockchain courses. These courses will be offered in TRIVE’s programming schools in Upcode Academy Singapore and Coder School Vietnam. These courses are in development at this time and are scheduled to be offered later this year.
More than official training in schools, the partnership positions TRIVE to identify startups that can be given expedited access to ICON support.
